BN gains the majority in Perak

These past few days have been very eventful in Perak. What is very evident is that BN now has the majority in the Perak State Assembly. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Najib, who is also the Perak BN & UMNO State Chief. Upon humbly informing of the same to DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan, the new Perak MB received consent from the Ruler and was sworn in as the 11th Menteri Besar of Perak.
This was indeed good news to all Perakeans who've had to endure the misfiring administration of the previous PR state government, who've managed to lurch from one dismal policy to another. With BN now back in control, it's hoped that the BN can undo the tremendous ammount of damage done to the state in the 11 months that the PR was in control; from the sheer madness of buying new cars for themselves during a period of economic slowdown, to dishing out 999-year land titles in perpetuity for cheap political mileage, to name but just a few.

Puteri UMNO prays that the State will now turn over a new chapter and BN will administer Perak with it's tradition of moderation, true fairness & equality for all Malaysians, and not just to score populist points.
